2. Unlock and remove the bean hopper. See: ›Cleaning the Bean Hopper‹.
3. Remove any beans that remain in the grinding chamber and around the upper
burr.
4. Remove the upper burr by turning the handle clockwise.

5. Ensure the grinds catcher is in place to catch the loose grinds. Using the provi-
ded cleaning brush, thoroughly remove any coffee grinds that may have accu-
mulated around the burrs and coffee grinds chute.

6. Wipe the coffee grinds chute disc (the entire stainless steel part) to remove any
build-up of coffee grinds from the surface. Dry thoroughly.
7. Replace the upper burr by aligning the arrow on the upper burr with the ‘ALIGN’
mark in the grinding chamber. The upper burr should sit flush. Turn the handle
counter-clockwise until the burr clicks into position.
8. Replace the bean hopper and lock into position.
9. Replace the coffee basket onto the swing-out door and close the door.
The coffee grinds chute will rotate back to the closed position. You may hear a win-
ding noise.
The LCD screen will no longer display ‘CLEAN COFFEE CHUTE’. The coffee brewer
is now ready to use again. Fill in coffee beans and close the hopper lid.
