Programming the Shot Temperature
1. Press the MENU button to switch to pro-
gram mode.
2. Turn the SELECT dial until the shot tempe-
rature is shown on the LCD display.
3. Press the SELECT dial. The current tempe-
rature will flash.
4. Turn the SELECT dial to the required tem-
perature.
5. Then press the SELECT dial to set. The
Espresso Machine will beep once to con-
firm the new temperature, and returns to
standby mode.

Cleaning Cycle
The cleaning cycle cleans the shower screen
and back-flushes the group head. Select this
feature when the LCD display shows “CLEAN

To Set the Clock
Tip:
You can select the clock format: 12h format
or 24h format. See: ›To Select 12h or 24h
Clock Format (CLoC)‹. However, setting the
clock is optional.
1. Press the MENU button to switch to pro-
gram mode.
2. Turn the SELECT dial, until the current time
of the appliance is shown on the LCD dis-
play. The default is shown, if the time has
not yet been set.
3. Press the SELECT dial. The current time
will flash.
4. Turn the SELECT dial to adjust time.
5. With the correct time shown, press the
SELECT dial to set. The Espresso Machine
will beep once to confirm the new setting
and return to standby mode.

Programming the Auto Start Function
Note:
The clock must be set before the Auto Start
time can be programmed (see above: ›To
Set the Clock‹). If you try to turn Auto Start
on without first setting the clock, the Espres-
so Machine will beep 3 times. With the
Auto Start function active, a clock icon will
be displayed on the LCD display.
