Manufacturer’s certificate
Every GARANT torque wrench will be
supplied with a calibration certificate
We recommend re-certification (recalib-
ration) after a long period of use. Torque
wrenches and torque testers are measu-
ring instruments.
Measuring instruments need to be
checked at intervals specified by Quality
Management using suitable test equip-
ment and should be readjusted as requi-
red. The interval between tests depends
on the frequency of use.
Hoffmann can offer suitable test equip-
ment. GARANT torque wrenches sent
back to Hoffmann are returned after
checking and any adjustment with a new
test cerificate.
Torque testers used by Hoffmann are
regularly controlled by the German
calibrating service (DKD) and are reca-
librated as necessary. This ensures that
the necessary competence in the field of
controlled screw tightening as well as the
high quality of GARANT torque tools are
always available.
