Installing your Gallagher Energizer

The Gallagher Energizer needs to be mounted
on a wall under cover close to the fence. Using the
two screws provided, screw the mounting bracket
to the wall. Attach the Gallagher Energizer to the
bracket by hooking it over the 2 prongs and snap-
ping the bottom into place.
Insert the end of the green cable into the
green terminal at the base of the Energizer. To do
this press the tab on the terminal. Repeat for the
red terminal.
Locate an area near to the Energizer where
the soil is damp all year round. Push the earth stake
into the ground until just 1cm is left above the
ground.
Feed the green cable to the earth peg. Make sure this is at least 5m
(16ft) from other earth systems (e.g mains power earth). Connect the
cable to the earth peg as illustrated, using the bolt and nut provided.
Connect the end of the red cable to the Polywire with the red
connector provided. To do this simply:
Insert the wire into the connector up to the wire stop.

Close cover, keep wire in position and squeeze with pliers until

cover is locked.
Put the other half of the connector onto the Polywire at the

beginning of the fence, close over the Polywire then squeeze the
connector closed with the pliers.
