11 Rotisserie spit
The rotisserie spit is particularly good for cooking large
roasts, such as rolled roasting joints or poultry. The
meat becomes crispy and brown.
ATTENTION!
Heat may damage the rotisserie spit.

Only use the rotisserie spit at temperatures up to a
maximum of 250 °C.
The rotary movement of the rotisserie spit may damage
the core temperature probe.
▶
Do not use the core temperature probe in conjunc-
tion with the rotisserie spit.
The heat in the oven causes damage to the handle of
the rotisserie spit.
▶
Do not place the handle of the rotisserie spit in the
oven.
Excessive weight may damage the rotisserie spit.
▶
The rotisserie spit has a maximum load capacity of
5 kg.
The rotisserie spit can be used with all operating
modes. For best results, use the "Full surface grill" or
"Top heat" types of heating.
Do not clean the rotisserie spit drive in the dishwasher.
11.1 Preparing the rotisserie spit
1.
Push the two supporting frames into the sockets in
the grill tray.
The drive is located on the left.
2.
Fit the right-hand retaining prongs to the rotisserie
spit and screw them in to secure the food in place.
3.
Skewer the food and move it to the middle of the ro-
tisserie spit.

Secure any protruding parts so that they do not
touch the grill element.
4.
Fit the left-hand retaining prongs to the rotisserie
spit and screw them in to secure the food in place.
5. Set the rotisserie spit down onto the supporting
frames.
‒
Push the rod of the rotisserie spit into the drive
so that it engages with its square profile.
6.
Insert the grill tray along with the rotisserie spit into
the appliance at the bottom shelf level.
7.
Ensure that the drive shaft engages in the opening
in the rear panel of the appliance.
‒
If necessary, turn the rotisserie spit slightly.
11.2 Switching on the rotisserie spit
1.
Set the temperature and type of heating you require.
