11.3 Switching off and removing the
rotisserie spit
WARNING ‒ Risk of burns!
The rotisserie spit and associated retaining frame are
hot.
▶
Wear gloves to take them out.
▶
Place the rotisserie spit and the associated retaining
frame on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
Press the knob on the handle to release it from the ro-
tisserie spit.
▶
When lifting the rotisserie spit, do not press the
knob on the handle.

The rotisserie spit drive stops.

Use the function selector to switch off the appliance.
3.
Remove the grill tray with the rotisserie spit and
place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
4.
To take off the rotisserie spit, fit the handle on the
side.
5.
Remove the rotisserie spit with the food from the
supporting frames and place on a serving platter.
6.
Release the retaining prongs and pull the rotisserie
spit out of the food.
7.
Press the button on the handle to remove it.
12 Searing function
With the searing function, the appliance heats up at full
capacity for approx. 3 minutes. You can use this to
sear steaks, for example.
To use the searing function, you will need a roaster,
pull-out system and heating element – these are spe-
cial accessories.
12.1 Starting the searing function
Requirement:
The roaster function type of heating
has been set.

Tip:
You can also set the searing function to start sev-
eral times consecutively.

13 Automatic programmes
You can prepare a wide range of food using the auto-
matic programmes. The appliance selects the optimal
setting for you.
13.1 Information about the settings for the
automatic programmes
Observe the instructions for the settings of the auto-
matic programmes.

The cooking result depends on the quality of the
food and the size and type of cookware. For an op-
timal cooking result, only use food that is in good
condition and meat that is chilled to refrigerator tem-
perature. For frozen food, only use food straight out
of the freezer.

The food is divided into categories. One or more
dishes are listed for each category. The first position
on the display shows the last selected category.
¡
The automatic programme suggests a temperature,
type of heating and cooking time.
¡
For some food, the appliance prompts you to enter
the weight. It is not possible to set weights outside
the preprogrammed weight range.
