The following guide details maintenance procedures for ensuring that your products operate
reliably, and that you have the optimal user experience with your system.

UPDATING SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE
Fusion Sport provides regular updates to the PDA software and remote unit firmware (the operating
system with the units). Please ensure that you have signed up for CUSTOMER MEMBERSHIP on the
Fusion Sport website to receive notification of updates.
Instructions for updating PDA software and Remote Data Unit (RDU) firmware are available in the
members’ area of the Fusion Sport website.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
The following actions will ensure that your SMARTSPEED system is protected during transport for
maximizing the life of the system –
1.
Store the units in the protective cases provided
2.
Ensure that the units, tripods and storage box are dry prior to storage (if the system has
been used in the rain)
3.
Secure items in the box during transport
4.
Ensure the units are turned off after each session
5.
Once charged, disconnect the PDA from the Grabba sleeve, and ensure the SMARTSPEED
software is closed, and that the Bluetooth and WiFi functions are turned off.
