Software Feature
The major features of this switch’s software are introduced in this chapter. The complete
set of software function is listed up in the section ‘3.4. Software Feature List’.

Functional Overview
3.1.1.
Switch Management
This switch supports the following protocols for management.
Command Line Interface (CLI)

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)

Network Configuration Protocol (NETCONF)

Open vSwitch Database (OVSDB)

The switch has three management interfaces – console port, management port,
and inbound network interface. If the management port or the network interface is
properly connected to the network, remote management of the switch is available
through these port or interface.

Command Line Interface (CLI)
The command-line interface (CLI) is a text-based way to manage and monitor the
system. You can access the CLI by using a direct serial connection or by using a
remote logical connection with telnet or SSH.
Default User Login
To login CLI engine, the default user name is “admin” and password is zero-string.
