RIPng (RIP for IPv6)
IPv6 RIP has the same function as IPv4 RIP and provides the same advantages. The
IPv6 RIP extension detailed in RFC 2080 includes support for IPv6 addresses and
prefixes, and the use of the full RIP device multicast group address
FF02::9
as the
destination address of the RIP update message.
In the software implementation of IPv6 RIP of this product, each IPv6 RIP process
manages a local routing table called a routing information database (RIB). The
IPv6 RIP RIB contains a set of optimal cost IPv6 RIP routes learned from all adjacent
network devices. If IPv6 RIP learns the same route from two different neighbors
and the cost is different, only the route with the lowest cost will be stored in the
local RIB.

Filtering IPv6 RIP Routing Updates
Route filtering using distribution lists controls routes that RIP receives and
advertises. This control is performed globally or per interface.
Filtering is controlled by the IPv6 distribution list. Input distribution lists control
route reception, and input filtering is applied to advertisements received from
neighbors. Only routes that pass input filtering are inserted into the RIP local
routing table and become candidates for insertion into the IPv6 routing table.
The output distribution list controls route advertisements. Output filtering is
applied to route advertisements sent to neighbors. Only routes passing through
output filtering are advertised.

OSPF (Open Shortest Path First)
3.1.9.15.1.
OSPF version 2 (IPv4)
This product supports the following features:
OSPF version 2 (RFC 2328) except for non-broadcast multi-access (NBMA)
interface or point-to-multipoint interfaces.
Not-so-stubby areas (RFC 3101) and external LSA overflow (RFC 1765).
Opaque LSA (RFC 2370) flooding, without generating and analyzing.
Stub router advertisement (RFC 3137). It becomes a stub router automatically
when OSPF cannot calculate the complete routing table due to resource
limitations. Also, network administrators can manually configure OSPF to act as
