Removing the front cover

You remove the front cover when:

– installing/removing accessible drives or HDD extension boxes

– converting a tower model to a rack model

Figure 14: Removing the ID card (tower server)

Remove the ID card from the server.

It may be necessary to pull out on the ID card rather firmly. However,
do not apply excessive force.
