12.2.4 Installing an accessible drive

Figure 197: Checking mounting bracket positions (Example: ODD installation, bay 1)

Ê

Ensure that the four mounting brackets in the desired accessible drive bay 
have not been bent out. If necessary, proceed as follows:

Ê

Using a screw driver, bend the mounting brackets of the upper 
installation bay inwards, so that their sides are flush with the bay walls 
(see close-up).

Ê

Bend down the upper two mounting brackets (see blue circles).

Ê

Bend up the lower two mounting brackets (see orange circles).
