Chapter 8 Operation and Maintenance

Attach a new battery backup unit to the SAS array controller card.

Insert the connector of the battery backup unit into that of SAS array controller card. And fasten
them by using the removed screws at the three points.

Install the SAS array controller card into the server, and connect the SAS
cables to the server.

10

Attach the upper processor air baffle.

Insert the notches on the front side of the baffle into the front of the server.
Pass the cable through the sides of the baffle. At this time, make sure that the cable is not
pinched.

Attach the top cover.
