[Scan - More Features] screen

The [More Features] screen allows you to configure settings such as scan size and
scan start position.

Note

Items and buttons displayed with thin dotted lines are disabled.

[Scan]>[More Features]

Scan Size

This feature allows you to specify the scanning
size of the document.

Auto Detect

Recognizes the document size automatically.

Preset Size

Displays the available scan sizes that have been
set with System Settings.

For details of setting the scan sizes to be displayed, refer to "Preset Size Buttons" (P.243).

Custom Size

Set the length in the X-direction in the range of
100 to 914mm, and in the Y-direction within the
range of 100 to 15000mm, in 1mm increments.

Edge Erase

This feature allows you to prevent shadows along the edges of the document from
appearing on the scanned data.

Note

•

When setting Reduce/Enlarge, the Edge Erase amount is also reduced or enlarged in pro-
portion to the set ratio.

•
