5 Troubleshooting

Open D and C
Clear jam

The printer detected a paper jam inside the printer. Open the unit D and cover C,
then remove the jammed paper.

jammed paper. If there is no jammed paper, open the unit D and cover E, then
remove the jammed paper.

Press Set

The printer memory is full and cannot continue processing the current print job.
Press the <Eject/Set> button to cancel the print job. Install additional memory and
print again.

Paper Tray
Config Error

Configuration of the trays is incorrect. Install the 250 sheet feeder above the 500
sheet feeder when you install the two levels of the optional trays.

Replace xxx-xxx

The printer parts need to be replaced. Contact our Customer Support Center or your
dealer and explain to them the contents of the “xxx-xxx.”

SysError 001-xxx
Reboot printer

System error occurs. Switch the printer off, then switch it on again. If the same
message appears again, take note of the code “001-xxx” and contact our Customer
Support Center or your dealers.

Tray N
Check Paper
(N: 1 or 2)

Inappropriate paper is loaded in tray N. Load paper whose size is correctly.
