8.  MOUNTING OF DETECTOR

8.1  Selection of mounting location

Detector mounting location, i.e., the conditions of the pipe subjected to flow rate measurement 
exert a great influence on measurement accuracy.  So select a location meeting the conditions 
listed below.

(1)  There is a straight pipe portion of 10D or more on the upstream side and that of 5D or more on 

the downstream side.

(2)  No factors to disturb the flow (such as pump and valve) within about 30D on the upstream side.
