In the VPN client status section the VPN client IP, the VPN type and the connection status will be displayed.

IPSec VPN Server

Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) is a protocol suite for secure Internet Protocol (IP) communications by authenticating and encrypting

each IP packet of a communication session.

IPSec can be configured to operate in two different modes, Tunnel and Transport mode. Use of each mode depends on the requirements

and implementation of IPSec.

IPSec VPN Server (Tunnel mode)

Tunnel mode is used to encrypt all traffic between secure IPSec Gateways, for example if you have two IPPBX's and each acts as an IPSec

Gateway for the hosts/IP phones behind it. The WAN ports will be used to connect both systems to establish IPSec VPN connection, now

all PCs or IP phones on the LAN ports can communicate with each other on both sides via a secure IPSec tunnel.
