General information

General

One of the interfaces mentioned below is absolutely essential in order to operate the TP

3500 Remote power source:

Roboter-Interface ROB TSt

Roboter-Interface Profibus

Operating the TP 3500 Remote power source without one of the mentioned interfaces

shall be deemed as "not in accordance with the intended purpose" and is therefore prohib

ited.

The interfaces are not included in the power source scope of supply and must be ordered

separately.

The TP 3500 Remote power source may also be used with the TR 3000 remote control

during servicing.

Principle

The power source works on resonance inverter principles and therefore offers a number of

advantages:

Intelligent control for a stable welding current

Lightweight and extremely compact

High switching frequencies and optimum efficiency

Device concept

The TP 3500 Remote power source is small, compact and robust. A powder-coated sheet

metal housing with stainless steel runners, control elements protected by a plastic frame

and connection sockets with an internal thread ensure that the power source will continue

to perform reliably even under extreme operating conditions.

A handle enables the device to be carried around easily.

Proper use

The power source has been specifically designed to

supply power for plasma processes

be used in conjunction with the ROB TSt robot interface
