DEF installation

FMP-TEM wiring

The FMP-TEM Temperature Sensor includes 2 electrical connectors for installation inside the 
junction box only.

1. 

Use the 2 moisture-resistant connectors provided for each sensor. For these splices, the 
wire insulation is NOT cut-back (NOT Stripped)

2. 

Insert the 2 brown wires into two separate opening of the first connector. Make sure the 
wires are fully inserted and seated at the end of the connector.

3. 

Insert the 2 black wires into two separate opening of the first connector. Make sure the 
wires are fully inserted and seated at the end of the connector.

4.  Squeeze each connector together using 8” slip-joint pliers (position the pliers jaws on the 

connector perpendicular to the wires and drive the black cap down almost flush to the edge of 
the connector body)
