AC input module (ACI)
The ACI is a non-intrinsically safe module that has 12 identical optically isolated AC input
channels that can be used for dispenser hook isolation, vapor processor input, or as generic AC
inputs. The EVO™ 550 and EVO™ 5000 ATGs can handle a total of 36 AC inputs or up to three AC
Input Modules in one system.

Dispenser hook signals
T5 Series ATGs require the dispenser hook signal from every dispenser on site be wired into
the ATG’s AC Input Module. When making the connection for the hook signals to the AC Input
Module, refer to the following diagram and use these guidelines:
• If there are two hooks per dispenser: wire the two hooks from Dispenser 1 to AC input
channels 1 & 2, the hooks from Dispenser 2 to AC channels 3 & 4, etc.
• If there are three hooks per dispenser, then wire the three hooks of Dispenser 1 to the AC
input channels 1, 2, 3 and so on.
• E-Stop leg input will be hot when in normal operation. When the E-Stop is activated, power
will be removed from the AC input channel and will trigger an e-mail to be sent to the
appropriate individual under the Rules programming.
