Internal deposit build up can cause:

performance variations;
•
alteration in clearances resulting in seizing;
•
out of balance rotor.
4.1 CLEANING
INSTRUCTIONS
4.1.1 INSTRUCTION FOR SCL K07-TD / K08-TD
In case it is necessary to clean the inside of the blower, proceed
as follows (refer to fig. 1):
1. Remove in order #915 and #902 screws placed on #162
cover.
2. Remove #162 cover by using the two holes between #103
intermediate housing and #162 cover.
3.
Remove the #900 screw and #365 washer.
4. Remove the #360 bearing cover and extract the #321
bearing using a bearing puller.
5. Remove the #231 impeller if necessary using a puller and
#940 key.
6. Remove the #902 screws placed on #104 intermediate
cover.
7. Remove the #103 and #104 and place them together, by
using the two holes between #104 intermediate cover and
#161 housing.
8. If needed, remove the #183 mounting feet by removing
#920 screws and #921 nuts.
9.
Remove the #934 spacer.
10. Remove the #935 shims-be careful not to misplace.
11. Remove the #230 impeller if necessary using a puller and
#940 key.
12. Clean and reassemble in reverse order.
If needed, reconstruct #423 seal using Loctite 598 or similar,
after cleaning the sealing surfaces of any existing sealant.
It’s important not to reverse the position of the #230 and
#231 impellers.
