form DD.dd where DD is the
latitude in degrees as a
positive number (the sign will
be shown using the left colon)
and dd is the fraction. This
value is read from

locale.ini.

Colons

The right colon is lit green to
separate the degrees and
fraction degrees.
The left colon is lit red to
indicate a positive latitude, i.e.
degrees north of the equator
and is lit blue to indicate a
negative latitude, i.e. degrees
south of the equator.
