OPERATION

SET THE HEIGHT

To set the height of the cutting unit use the ACCU-

POSITIONING GAUGE which is stored in the cabinet on the

right handside of the inside of the machine. See FIG. 33.

1.

Place the ACCU-

POSITIONING GAUGE on the LOWER

PIN

on the right side of the grinding head. See FIG 33.

2.

Press the LOCKING

TAB

to release the

GAUGE ROD.

3. Rotate the ACCU-POSITIONING GAUGE on the PIN

until

the GAUGE ROD meets the center shaft of the cutting

unit. See FIG. 34.

4.

Secure the GAUGE in place with the LOCK HANDLE then

retract the GAUGE ROD until it locks into the TAB.

IF NECESSARY- Lower the grinding head to avoid contact

between the reel and grinding head.
