BURNER FLAME ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: Improper installa

tion, adjustment, alteration, ser
-
vice or maintenance can cause
injury or property damage. Refer
to this manual for assistance.
Consult a qualified installer for
additional information.
Burner flame adjustment (shutter opening)
has been factory preset (for natural gas) to
proper air-to-gas ratio. This ratio results in an
even, clean burning flame across burner (see
Figure 41, page 24).
If adjustment is necessary, you can restore
proper flame setting by loosening air shutter
screw and rotating air shutter until proper
setting is achieved (see Figure 42, page 24).
Air shutter setting is 1/8" open for natural gas
and full open for propane/LP gas.
10. Blower will only run when speed control
knob is in the ON position and thermal
switch senses temperature after fireplace
begins to heat up. Blower speed can be
adjusted by rotating control knob. To turn
off, turn knob fully counterclockwise until
it clicks off. If blower is ON and has been
running with fireplace operating, blower
will continue to run for a short time after
fireplace has been turned off. As thermal
switch cools down, blower shuts down
automatically.
11. Peel off backing paper and stick supplied
wiring diagram decal on firebox bottom
approximately 12" in front of blower (see
Figure 37, page 22).

CAUTION: Label all wires
prior to disconnection when
servicing controls. Wiring errors
can cause improper and dan

gerous operation. Verify proper
operation after servicing.
