FLY FUSION™ PENTOP COMPUTER USER MANUAL

If the pentop computer is having trouble recognizing your hand writing try to write in FLYtype™:

Spacing

•

Don’t crowd your numbers too close

together.

•

Don’t leave abnormally large spaces

between your numbers and symbols.

•

Don’t write your new equation too close

to an old one.

Fractions

•

The fraction bar must be horizontal – no

diagonal bars allowed!

•

It is a good idea to write your numerator

and denominator on separate lines with

the fraction bar on the line.

•

Make sure the fraction bar is long enough

to cover the entire denominator.

Parentheses

•

Make sure your parentheses are rounded

and slightly larger than the numbers.

Exponents

•

Make exponents smaller and higher than

the base number.

CORRECTING MISTAKES

To clear an entire entry:

Draw a line through the entire entry.

Write the correct entry on the next line.

To correct part of an entry:

Write the correct number or symbol over

the incorrect one.
