Real Time Protocol (RTP)

RTP stands for
Real Time Protocol
. It is a streaming protocol where data
is broken up into a number of smaller packages, appropriately sized with
regard to the current bandwidth between the server (in this case the RTP
server inside the infrared camera) and the client (a computer in a net
-
work). Due to the fact that data is sent as packages, the client software
will be able to play the data of one packet at the same time as receiving
the data of the second packet. This means that the client software does
not need to download an entire file before playing the data.

A counter that is decremented each time a
packet passes through a router.
MC Address
225.0.0.0–
239.255.255.255
The multicast address to which the server
inside the infrared camera is broadcasting.
NOTE:
IP multicast addresses fall within
a segment defined by Internet Assigned
Numbers Authority (IANA).

This dialog box shows camera-critical information, such as serial num-
ber, software revisions, memory usage etc. No changes can be made.
