Transducer damping mats are installed on the pipe lengthwise. The pipe damping mats can be installed
on the pipe lengthwise or crosswise. In the example, they are installed crosswise.
Number of transducer damping mats
The transducer damping mats are installed along the pipe circumference with a width of 2 x 1400 mm.
The number of transducer damping mats is 2 x 1400 mm / 225 mm = 2 x 6.2.
2 x 6 damping mats (600 mm x 225 mm) + 2 x 1 damping mat (600 mm x 50 mm)
Number of pipe damping mats
The pipe damping mats are installed along the entire pipe circumference.
