Anyone involved in the operation, cleaning, maintenance and repair of the control
cabinet or DX site server must have thoroughly read and understood the chapter Operator
control (Page 55).

DANGER
Danger to life due to electric shock
Electric shock results in fatal injuries.
• Connect the control cabinet and DX site server and ancillary equipment as
instructed. Be sure to comply with the regulations.
• Check the function of all safety-related switching devices at regular intervals.
• Never remove, bypass or interfere with safety devices (such as emergency switches,
limit switches, key switches).
• Only allow trained and instructed personnel to operate the system controls.
• Have repair, cleaning and maintenance work carried out only when the unit is switched
off (voltage-free) and only by a qualified electrician.
A skilled electrician is a person who, on the basis of their technical training, knowledge and
experience as well as knowledge of the relevant regulations, can assess the work assigned
to them and recognise possible hazards.
Note for the operator
• As the operator, it is your responsibility to ensure that the function test of the safety
equipment on the control cabinet and DX Site-Server is carried out by instruc-
ted personnel both before commissioning and before each new start-up.
• As the operator, provide the required personal protective equipment (PPE) to the operat-
ing personnel and ensure that it is used.

Work on the control cabinet and DX Site-Server may only be carried out by trained
and or instructed personnel. Danger to life and limb may result if used for any purpose other
than the intended use.
• The control cabinet and DX Site-Server may only be operated by authorised,
professionally suitable persons.
