5.11 SYMPTOM: Oven heats slowly or fails to reach preset
temperature
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
ƒ Incorrect oven use
ƒ Faulty door switch
ƒ
Low supply voltage
ƒ Faulty temperature sensor
ƒ
Faulty oven element / fan
ƒ Faulty power module
DIAGNOSIS:
ƒ Ensure the oven door closes and seals correctly.
ƒ Check for door switch faults. (refer to Section 5.25)
ƒ Check for temperature sensor faults. (refer to Section 5.23)
ƒ Check for oven element faults. (refer to Section 5.22)
ƒ Replace the power module if no other component faults can be found.
(Refer to Servicing Instructions Section 7.9)
5.12 SYMPTOM: Oven Lights do not turn On / Off
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
ƒ Blown oven light bulb/s
ƒ Faulty oven door switch
ƒ Faulty wiring
ƒ Faulty power module
DIAGNOSIS:
ƒ Replace bulb/s if faulty.
ƒ If lights do not turn off, check for oven door switch faults. (refer to Section 5.25)
ƒ Check for oven light faults. (refer to Section 5.21)
ƒ Replace the power module if no other component faults can be found. (refer to
Servicing Instructions Section 7.9)
