Safety Instructions
In the event that fuel is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine in this location, rather move the hedge
trimmer to another location before starting the engine.
Always screw the petrol tank back on fi rmly after refi lling fuel.
Fuel may only be drained from the petrol tank outdoors.
USING THE PETROL-POWERED HEDGE TRIMMER

This hedge trimmer is intended solely for the purpose of trimming and
shaping hedges, bushes and ornamental shrubs and only in the private sector. Any
other use is expressly excluded, never use this hedge trimmer for other purposes!
Power tools for private and hobby gardens are not suitable for use on public
facilities, parks and sports centres, along road sides, on farms or in forestry.
Stop the engine before:
- cleaning or unjamming,
- inspection, performing maintenance or any work on this power tool,
- adjusting the work position of the trimmer blade,
- leaving this power tool without supervision.
Check that the hedge trimmer is positioned in the correct work position before starting the engine.
Always maintain a safe work position when using this hedge trimmer, particularly when working on steps or
a ladder.
Do not use the hedge trimmer with damaged or heavily worn out cutting blades.
To limit the risk of causing a fi re, make sure that there is no dirt or excess lubricant on the motor and exhaust
pipe.
Always check that all handles and covers are properly attached before using the power tool.
Always check that all bolts and screws are properly tightened before using the power tool
Never attempt to use an incomplete power tool or a power tool that has had unauthorised modifi cations
performed on it.
When working with a two-handle hedge trimmer, always use two hands for operation.
Constantly monitor the vicinity of the working area and watch out for risks, which may possibly not be heard
due to the noisiness of the power tool's engine.
In the event that the hedge trimmer impacts a foreign object, it usually makes unusual sounds and will
vibrating abnormally, so stop the engine and wait for the power tool to come to a complete stop. Disconnect
the cable socket from the power plug and perform the following steps:
- Check for damage.
- Check and tighten all loose parts.
- Repair or replace all damaged parts and use only approved parts for this task.
Use hearing protection when working with this power tool.
Use eye protection when working with this power tool.
In an emergency situation, stop the engine by moving the engine switch to the off position.
When using this power tool in environments with higher temperatures, altitude above sea level or humidity,
the performance of this power tool is reduced
