Check: no kinks, dents or bending.

Clean the contact surfaces of the following components:

Shaft journal; exception: leave the expanding mandrel cone greased on the inside.

Hollow shafts on the X-axes

–

Shaft journals on the gear unit

The coupling will only grip without slipping if surfaces are dry and grease-free.
