Conversion of the MPA valve terminal with CPX ter
minal

In  order  to  convert  the  MPA  valve  terminal  with  CPX  terminal
to  3  ...  8  pressure  zones,  you  will  require  the  following  com
ponents  for  each  pressure  zone:

sheet seal with pressure zone separation VMPA..−DP−...

A supply plate with exhaust plate or large surface−
mounted silencer VMPA..−FB−SP or VMPA..−FB−SPU

Dismantling

Proceed as follows:

1. Loosen the electrical and pneumatic connections and re

move the MPA valve terminal from the fastening surface
(see section Dismantling the MPA valve terminal" in this
chapter).

2. Place the MPA valve terminal on a flat working surface.

3. Loosen the sub−base at the point where you wish to insert

the sheet seal for the pressure zone separation (see sec
tion Dismantling sub−bases").
