5.5

Converting the MPA valve terminal

The following conversion work can be undertaken on the MPA
valve terminal:

conversion of the MPA valve terminal to internal or exter
nal auxiliary pilot air

conversion of the MPA valve terminal to different pressure
zones

Adding valve locations (sub−bases)

5.5.1

conversion to internal or external pilot air

Depending  on  the  pneumatic  interface  or  multipin  sub−base
fitted,  pilot  control  of  the  valve  solenoid  coils  can  be  carried
out  with  internal  or  external  auxiliary  pilot  air.

Please note

Mixed  operation  of  the  MPA  valve  terminal  with  internal
and  external  auxiliary  pilot  air  is  not  intended.  Irrespective
of  the  available  pressure  zones,  all  valve  solenoid  coils  of
the  MPA  valve  terminal  are  supplied  with  the  same  auxili
ary  pilot  air.
