Please note
Larger or simultaneously operated cylinders generate a
back pressure in the exhaust channel of the valve terminal.
This back pressure depends on the exhaust output of the
silencer. In order to avoid reciprocal effects with neigh
bouring valves, valves can be separated by means of a
channel separation with separator plate S. The pressure
zone to the left of separator plate S is exhausted via the
plug−in silencer supplied. If there are more than two valve
modules in such a pressure zone, a further additional pres
sure supply plate with additional exhausting may be
necessary. It is therefore an advantage to implement the
higher demands on the exhausting in the pressure zone
which is exhausted via the right−hand end plate.
Please note
Make sure that pressure zones, which are supplied via
separator plates, are sufficiently pressurized or ex
hausted.
If there are two or more valve functions per pressure
zone, an additional compressed air supply / exhausting
may be required (additional pressure supply plate Ident.
code U). This occupies one valve location.
3.3.3 Vacuum/low pressure operation
The CPV−SC valve terminal with connection 12/14 on the left−
hand end plate can be operated with vacuum or low pressure
(

3bar), if regulated external auxiliary pilot air is applied.
