• Guide the left-hand end of the toothed belt through the prepared drive
cover for the left-hand side as shown.
Note
Note the marking on the name plate and the resulting position of the drive
trunnion (see section
2.3 “Overview of variants and mounting directions” ).
• Insert the left-hand end of the toothed belt together with the clamping plate
into the clamping body equipped with a magnet.
Note (DGE-25 only)
Pay attention to the position of the clamping
plate. The flattened side of the slot and the
chamfered end must be pointing away from the
toothed belt.
Warning
The toothed belt must be placed correctly on the clamping plate. It must not
protrude and must make contact with eight teeth.
• Insert the cylindrical dowel pin into the recess and align it centrally.
Warning
The cylindrical dowel pin must not protrude past the side of the clamping
body as otherwise the piston will be damaged.
• Insert the clamping body into the piston.
• Screw the socket head screw into the piston through the clamp piece.
Note (DGE-63 only)
The socket head screw must be fitted with a washer.
