• Push the toothed drive shaft with the two deep-groove ball bearings out of
the drive cover.
Note
You do not need to pull off the deep-groove ball bearings as the spare part
comprises the two bearings and the shaft.
• Check the inner raceways of the deep-groove ball bearings for a secure fit
on the toothed drive shaft. If a bearing is not fitting securely, replace the
module.
Installing the toothed drive shaft
• Apply a light coating of grease to the outside of the deep-groove ball bear-
ings and push the toothed drive shaft into the drive cover with the drive
trunnion in front. If necessary, use a plastic hammer to carefully insert the
toothed drive shaft into the drive cover.
Note
Any installation direction can be chosen for toothed drive shafts with two or
no drive trunnions.
• Insert the retaining ring.
Note
Check that the retaining ring is correctly positioned.
