2.2 Fitting variants
The CPA−SC valve terminal has been prepared for fitting into a
system or machine in one of the following ways:
Mounting
method Description
Mounting
on a hat rail The CPA−SC valve terminal is suitable for fitting
onto a hat rail (support rail as per EN 50022).
Before the CPA−SC valve terminal can be fitted
onto a hat rail, a mounting kit must be fitted
onto the rear of the valve terminal so that it can
be hung on the hat rail.
Note the specifications on vibration and shock
for CPA−SC valve terminals with field bus direct
(see appendix A Technical specifications").
Mounting
on a wall Use this type of mounting if you wish to fit the
CPA−SC valve terminal onto a machine.
The base block of the CPA−SC valve terminal has
4 holes for fitting ont onto a wall (see Fig.2/3).

Mount the CPA−SC valve terminal so that there is sufficient
space for heat dissipation and so that the maximum limits
for temperatures are observed (see Technical specifica
tions").
