Thicknessing
Follow the procedure below to obtain the correct planning thickness (see Figure 34):
1. Loosen the locking of the table and adjust the table thickness to the required height by
means of the handwheel.
2. Place the piece on the thickness table, positioning the side not being processed
upwards.
3. Lift the table in relation to the workpiece.
4. Adjust chip removal up to a maximum of 1.2 mm using the handwheel.
5. Next adjust the table to the desired position using the locking lever.
6. Switch on the machine and push the workpiece forward (see Figure 34 ).

The pieces with end parts that are shaped differently must always be entered with the largest
part first. When planing wood with knots, we recommend that you cover the thickness table
with paraffin wax, to make movement smoother.
