Once you have chosen the position of the indoor unit, use the fastening plate as a template to find the exact position
for the expansion plugs and the hole on the wall . With reference to the dimensions listed below, consider the spaces
required for a correct installation .
INSTALLATION
Proceed as explained below:
1 .
Position the plate on the wall at a suitable height and keep it as horizontal
as possible while fixing it (use a level) .
2 .
Mark the position of the fixing holes .
3 .
Make the fixing holes using a drill and Ø 8mm drill bit, and insert the
expansion plugs .
4 .
Chose the exit side of the connection pipes . It is recommended to use the
back outlet on the right-hand side, however, if this is not possible refer to
paragraph "OTHER INSTALLATIONS" .
5 .
Make a Ø 55mm or Ø 70mm hole on the wall (Fig . 1), slightly descending
outwards, starting to drill on one side of the wall (A) and finishing on the
opposite side (B) to avoid unwanted breakages of the wall .
6 .
Fix the plate inserting the relevant screws into the four holes previously
drilled .
7 .
Lift and turn with care the sections of the pipe necessary for the connection
with the outdoor unit and route them through the hole .
8 .
Route the condensation drain hose through the same hole . According to
personal needs, this hose can be routed in other directions, provided that a
minimum inclination is always observed to allow the regular condensation
drainage .
9 .
Securely hang the indoor unit to the fastening plate hooks .
10 .
Check unit fastening conditions by moving it to the left and to the right .
Note:
In order to make the fastening to the plate easier, keep the unit lower
part lifted and then lower it in a perpendicular position while easing the sheath
in place (Fig . 2) .
The experience of the installation technician will guarantee the perfect
execution of all operations, according to any specific needs .
