COOLING CONNECTIONS
PIPE INSULATION
Comply with the following indications when connecting the cooling pipes:
• Match the ends of the previously flared pipe (1-Fig . 1) with those of
the connections on the indoor units or on the cocks of the outdoor units
(2-Fig . 1) .
• Tighten the union by hand and then torque it with the aid of an adequate
wrench (it is advisable to use a fox wedge to prevent tensions from being
created on the pipes) .
In order to ensure the system efficiency and its correct operation, it is necessary to use pre-insulated cooling
connection lines easily available on the market . Pay also attention to the connection points according to what
described .

The connection fitting of the indoor unit must be wrapped with thermal
insulating material .
Use the sections of insulating material used to wrap the indoor unit pipes
and carefully cover the pipes by means of some adhesive tape .
After wrapping the pipes with protective material, connect the electric
connection cable (1-Fig . 3), the condensation drain hose (2-Fig . 3) and
the pipes (3-Fig . 3) . Make sure to never bent the pipes so as to create
