Media mode
CD changer mode
The following items described under
“CD mode” on page 79 apply to the CD
changer operation:
• “Notes on compact discs (CD)” on
page 79.
• “Notes for CD-R and CD-RW” on
page 80.
Operational readiness of CD
changer
If a CD changer is connected to the
Infotainment, the CD changer is ready
for operation as soon as the filled CD
magazine is loaded. Close the sliding
cover after loading. All further control
takes place via the Infotainment control
panel.
Load/eject the CD magazine
To remove the CD magazine, open the
sliding cover on the changer and press
the eject button. The magazine is ejected
and can be removed.
When inserting CDs into the magazine,
please note the instructions printed on
the magazine.
External units/ AUX mode
You can call up a unit externally
connected to the Infotainment as
described under “Media quick access”
on page 73.
However, the AUX mode must be
activated as described under “External
device” on page 131.
Operation of the external unit is not
possible. You can only adjust the
volume and the sound for this source.
Note:
Incorrectly inserted CDs will not be
played.
Note:
To allow for the fastest possible
changing of CDs, the magazine should
be loaded successively, beginning with
compartment 1.
