User voice commands
What is voice command
operation?
Using the voice commands you can
control your Infotainment in various
areas by the push of a button and using
your voice.
This generates a substantial increase of
traffic safety.
Symbols
In this section of the manual, you will
find a brief presentation of a number of
previously unknown symbols.
In the description of voice commands
possible for voice command control
there will be a cross-reference (page
XX) to the page number of the user
manual where the respective function is
described.
A few of the voice commands initiate
dialogues between the user and the voice
control system. A few of these dialogues
are presented as examples in the
operating manual.
The following symbols are used in these
sample dialogues:

With the aid of the voice control
system, you can store voice entries for
stations, address book entries and
navigation destinations. These voice
entries are an element of various
commands and are identified in the
manual using “...*”, e.g. “
Set [station]
...*
”.
• ... (1-X)
If a bracket with a range of numbers
follows the three periods, the three
periods represent a single digit within
the defined range, e.g. “
(1 - 9)
”.

If a word, enclosed within square
brackets, is shown in a sample
dialogue, this word is optional. This
word is not absolutely necessary in
order for the command to be
understood.

In a sample dialogue between voice
control system and user this symbol
identifies a user voice command.

identifies an announcement text by the
system.
