Radio mode

Program type

The program type (PTY) is a service
offered by many stations within the
Radio-data-system (RDS). Using this
you can determine precisely which
stations of the respective program types
should be displayed in the station list.

In the radio main menu select the entry

With the function (

) switched on, only

those stations with the selected program
types will be displayed in the FM station
lists. In addition, the program type of the
station as set will be displayed in the
right hand side status display.

In the program type menu mark the
entry of the desired program type.

Switch the individual program types

) by pressing the

By selecting

in the program type

menu all program types are reset to
switched off.

If the function is deactivated then the
filter settings remain in place.

All PTY categories will be displayed in
the program type menu. If no stations
are receivable in one category at the
current time then this category will be
displayed as greyed out. However, the
category can still be activated or
deactivated.
If the entry
