procedures or instructions are not followed, any damage would not

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION:
Your equipment contains a number of materials that can be
repurposed or recycled. Hand it over to your reseller or an
authorized dealer for recycling / disposal.
SAFETY MEASURES
•
Your FELCO Power Blade Series® electric pruning
shears are a professional tool that is to be used only for
pruning trees, bushes, shrubs and vines. It will make
pruning much easier for arboriculture and the
maintenance of parks, gardens, forests and vines.
• FELCO Power Blade Series® electric pruning shears may
be fitted with a special cutting heads for different pruning
jobs. Such specific use is to be made by trained personnel
only.
• FELCO SA disclaims all liability in the event of damage
due to improper use other than that for which the
equipment is designed.
• FELCO SA further disclaims liability for damages due to
the use of non-original parts or accessories.
• Use personal protective equipment. The use of protective
equipment such as gloves, eye wear and ear protection is
highly recommended and will help reduce the risk of
injury.
SAFETY MEASURES RELATED TO THE USE OF THE
TOOL
• Check that the switch 05 is set to Off before disconnecting
the battery 06a or 06b from the control unit 04 or
disconnecting the pruning shears 12 from the cord 02.
•
Disconnect the pruning shears 12 from the cord 02 before
you start any work on them (replacement of the blade 14,
etc.).
•
Do not dismantle the pruning shears 12. Only the
operations contained in this user guide are permitted.
• Do not store the pruning shears 12 in a humid or hot
environment.
•
Never carry the pruning shears 12 or the control unit 04
by the cord 02.
•
Do not attempt to cut wood with a particularly large section
or materials other than wood, unless otherwise indicated.
•
Keep the original packaging for storing the pruning
shears 12, in case you need to send them back for
servicing or repair.
• Keep the tool out of the reach of children.
•
When the pruning shears 12 are not in use, close the
blade 14 and always set the switch 05 to the Off position
in order to avoid injury and deep discharge of the
battery 06a or 06b.
• Never use the tool if it is damaged, incorrectly adjusted or
incompletely assembled.
• Keep a minimum safety distance of 20 cm between the
free hand and the tool.
• Mind any material that could be emitted while pruning as
this may lead to potential injury or damage to property.
The user and bystanders must wear protective eye wear.
• Always wear appropriate shoes and clothing.
SAFETY MARKINGS
Do not use in rain or water.
Use the pruning shears with caution.
Pruning shears in accordance with CE standards.
The equipment must be used in a temperature range
between -5 °C (+23 °F) and +30 °C (+86 °F).
