4. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
Charge the Battery
For a generator equipped with batteries for electric starting, proper battery maintenance and storage should
be followed, An automatic battery charger (not included with automatic trickle charging capability should be
used to charge the battery, Maximum charging rate should not exceed 1.5 amps. Follow the instructions
included with the battery charger. The battery should be fully charged at least once per month.
NOTE:
A Float Charger will maintain the battery condition over long storage periods.
