4.4.2 Connection of USB devices

The CPC522 module supports any USB computer peripheral Plug&Play standard (e.g.
keyboard, mouse, printer etc.).

Note

All USB devices can be connected and disconnected while the power supply of the devices and
head system is switched on.

4.4.3 Battery replacement

To replace the lithium battery, use the same battery or the one recommended by the manufacturer
for replacement. Suitable models include RENATA CR2032 or other compatible models.

Important note:

Polarity must be observed when replacing the battery.

The used battery should be disposed in accordance with the relevant regulations.

The expected life of a 190 mAh battery is approximately 5-6 years provided that the battery
operates

8 hours a day at 30°C. However, battery life is highly dependent on operating

temperature and the amount of time the system is turned off.

It is recommended to replace the battery after 4-5 years of operation without waiting until the end
of its service life.

4.5 Installing the MIC584 Mezzanine Module

The MIC584 module is installed in XS7 slot of the CPC522 board. Refer to the MIC584 User
Manual for the procedure to install the MIC584 module on the processor module.

4.6 Installing the software

The procedure for installing the Ethernet drivers and other peripherals installed on the module is
given in the files accompanying the drivers.

This User Manual also does not describe how to install operating systems. Refer to the
documentation provided with the operating system.
