Operation - Pull Type 7420, 8420

Disconnecting Hydraulic Hoses

Release pressure and pull the male couplers out to
disconnect.

WARNING

AVOID BURNS

Hydraulic fluid, tubes, fittings and quick
couplers can get hot when running equipment.
Be careful when connecting and disconnecting
quick couplers.

Connecting Hydraulic Hoses

The snowblower may be equipped with the fol-
lowing hydraulic options, if applicable.

1. Hydraulic spout deflector

2. Hydraulic spout rotator

Push couplers into female couplers on the tractor
until they are fully engaged and locked.

WARNING

HIGH PRESSURE FLUID HAZARD

To prevent serious injury or death from high
pressure fluid:

•

Relieve pressure on system before repairing or
adjusting.

•

Wear proper hand and eye protection when
searching for leaks. Use wood or cardboard
instead of hands.

•

Keep all components in good repair.

IMPORTANT

Contain and dispose of any oil leakage in an
environmentally safe manner.

Thoroughly clean the quick couplers before
making connections. Dirt can quickly damage
the system.

Note:

Make sure the quick couplers are fully
engaged. If the quick couplers do not fully
engage, check to see that the couplers are
the same size and type.
