Remote (Slave) Mode Operation

If an error prevented a successful relative operation 

or 

if the OFF state was

selected, "range," "sign" and "reading" will be returned to '0000000.' See

Section IV-J for further information on relative operation errors.

NOTE: The range units (GAUSS or TESLA) are determined by the MODE
SELECTION command. If the channel has been programmed for the ac
mode, the "sign" character will be a "-." The SPACE " " character will be
returned if the reading is exactly 0 in the dc mode. The ranges shown in
parenthesis ( ) are used with a 0.01X probe.

EXAMPLE: "RE3220000000" starts the relative operation for CHANNEL 3. If

the relative field was -23.110 mT, the returned command string will be
"RE3223-23110."

EXAMPLE: "RE1110000000" disables the use of the relative offset in the

MEASURE mode for CHANNEL 1. The returned command string will be the

same.

placed in the desired magnetic field environment
