3.10 Network Setup
Adjust Options of Network Setting
Remote Port – default value is 7000. Input the Port Number you want to use for communication
with Client programs. In case you want to change default value 7000, please
reboot the system before use.
* Port Forwarding – In case the unit is connected to the internet via a router , you need to
set the port 7000 forwarded. Otherwise users can’t connect this unit from outside.
Web Server Port – Port used for Web Client. Factory default is 80
Bandwidth – You can choose Bandwidth which meets your network condition among
LAN, 128k, 64k, 56k, 336k, 288k, 144k, 96k, 5k
DDNS Setup – When you want to connect this NVR with IP address from outside, you’d better to
Use DDNS service. We provide FREE DDNS service that you can make your own
ID and Password for DDSN use with this menu
Network Setup – When you want to use Fixed IP address, set the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
3.10.1 DDNS Setup
DDNS (Dynamic DNS) server let user’s dynamic IP
can be used as fixed IP address.
So even though the IP address of NVR happen to
change, Users can connect to the NVR with Client
from remote places without problem.
Click “Use DDNS Server” and input your own ID and
Password before clicking “APPLY”
(You need to make NEW ID first, see 3.8.2)
After input your ID, Password, click “Update Now”
So DDNS server recognizes your IP address.
