Updating Firmware
1. Connect the PC to the XTP II CrossPoint Series matrix switcher via the LAN port of the
matrix switcher.
2. Access the XTP II CrossPoint Series matrix switcher using HTML pages (see Download
the Startup Page on page 67).

Configuration
tab (see figure 36,

Browse

6. Navigate to the new firmware file, which has an .S19 extension, and select it (

ATTENTION:
• The firmware file must have an .s19 extension. Other file types can cause the
switcher to stop functioning.

NOTE:
The original factory-installed firmware is permanently available on the matrix
switcher. If the attempted firmware upload fails for any reason, the matrix switcher
reverts to the factory-installed firmware.
