8.1.3. Control Panel Serial Interface

The Serial Interface is selected to provide access to the EQT through a physical cable, plugged into the

SERIAL port, on device’s rear.

There are two serial standards: RS232 and RS422 , detailed in 2.3.2. section, since there are differences

in the pin-out configuration. Both uses the Quartz protocol to communicate to the EQT.
